a film about WATER AND SURVIVAL IN THE MIDDLE ATLAS OF MOROCCo

Ihssane is the first in her family to go to university, leaving her twin sister Hasnae at home to help their mother maintain daily household needs. Frequent water cuts have beset their rural Moroccan village, located next to a large natural water spring and a powerful bottled-water plant. Written and directed by Noelia Santos. Supported with a grant by Al Akhawayn University.

A documentary FILM EXPLORING the roots of musical inspiration

Follow the development of a jazz composition by the acclaimed New York-based Colombian percussionist and composer, Samuel Torres, whose album, 'Forced Displacement,' was written as a tribute to the victims of the Colombian conflict. The project takes him on a journey to the roots of Afro-Colombian music and the communities in which it plays an important social role.
